German shoe retailer Goertz installed virtual stores in public places like train stations to bridge the physical/digital gap and reach more consumers. Consumers could see what 3D versions of the shoes looked like on their feet and then directly buy the shoes with their mobile phones via a dynamic QR code displayed on the screen.
