While Elon Musk’s Twitter escapades continue to make headlines, Tesla is embarking on an exciting new venture: a diner and drive-in theater. Departing from the chaos of social media, Tesla’s latest project harks back to the nostalgia of the 1950s, promising a unique blend of old-school charm and cutting-edge technology. Located in Los Angeles, this concept has received the green light from the LA Department of Building and Safety, marking a significant step towards realization.

Elon Musk first hinted at the idea of a “major new supercharger station” in Santa Monica in 2021. He envisioned not just a charging hub, but also a diner with a twist: “100 best movie clips playing too.” Recent reports suggest that Musk’s dream is inching closer to reality. The proposed location for this innovative diner, theater, and supercharger station is 7001 W. Santa Monica Boulevard.

Tesla’s concept art offers a glimpse into a building that evokes the classic American diner aesthetic, complete with a parking lot equipped with Tesla superchargers. While the concept art doesn’t explicitly show it, the vision includes the possibility for drivers to enjoy a unique experience. Picture this: as your Tesla charges, you could savor a burger and milkshake while catching glimpses of iconic movie clips. Yes, only clips, as Tesla chargers are known for their efficiency.

Tesla’s global footprint continues to expand, and it’s making waves even in locales like Thailand. Recently, Tesla inaugurated its first Tesla Center in Bangkok, following its official launch just last year in December. As Tesla continues to innovate and venture into exciting new territory, the future of transportation looks brighter than ever.
