Harrods has partnered with Dior for a takeover of its Brompton Road store until April 14th that combines “French Savoir Faire and British charm.” Dior has turned the window displays into a homage to Britain’s cultural icons.
Wallpaper notes that Harrods’ fourth floor features a series of concept spaces. There is a façade of Dior’s Parisian headquarters recreated in miniature, reimagined ‘Lady Dior’ bags, mini-mannequins wearing seminal couture designs, an interactive digital book, and a selection of rare photos and sketches from the archive.
A pop-up cafe features a menu that evokes Dior’s passion for sumptuous food, with cupcakes iced with Dior fashion illustrations, black truffle omelettes, lobster sandwich, and other recipes borrowed from a cookbook published by the designer.
Visitors to the Beauty Halls will be able to sample exclusive beauty events over the month. You can have your portrait sketched by a Dior artist, personalize your perfume bottle with the in-store engraving service, experience facials, manicures, make-overs and more.
