Selfridges has opened a mini gold course on its rooftop, that is made out of cake. The 2,500sqft nine hole course designed by food architects Bompas & Parr has been designed to attract shoppers by offering a very memorable experience. The giant cake displays, one for each hole, represent famous London landmarks like Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Tower Bridge, and are covered in fondant and piped icing.

 

After having their appetites whetted, participants can then enjoy “the highest tea on Oxford Street” at the 100% organic Daylesford Cafe, which serves a traditional British afternoon tea, with a twist.

 

The Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party runs until September 2nd. Check out the video below:
