Barbour – Shaun The Sheep x Baa-bour
The Barbour Christmas advert 2023 stars none other than Shaun the Sheep. Created by Aardman studios, the ad follows Shaun, Bitzer and the Flock as they decide to repair the farmer’s well-worn Barbour wax jacket. It’s a festive tale brimming with heart and mischief.
Disney UK – A wish for the Holidays
‘A Disney A Wish For The Holidays’, takes inspiration from the soon to be released Walt Disney Animation Studios movie Wish. The ad is directed by Grammy Award-winning Nigerian/British director Meji Alabi and was fully shot in South Africa, with scenes representing six geographical locations and languages. It tells the stories of families from around the world, who are united by a universal wish to be together with their loved ones during the Holidays, recognising a range of festive traditions, including Hanukkah and Diwali.
Sports Direct: Dream Big by Mox London
Sports Direct’s newest Christmas ad follows in the footsteps of last year’s release, featuring a lineup of familiar faces. However, what the Fraser Group-owned brand truly aims to leave a lasting impression is the uplifting message at the heart of its campaign.
Dobbies: Find Your Christmust by Elvis
In this short Dobbies spot, muliple scenes depict individuals discovering their ‘Christmust’ at the garden centre chain. It beautifully captures the exhilarating sensation that comes with finding that special something.

Westfield has launched its Christmas 2023 campaign ‘The Magic of Believing’. Celebrating the spirit of the season where magic takes centre stage; ’The Magic of Believing’ tells the story of 86-year-old Arthur who still believes in Santa, and his Grandson who goes to great lengths to protect his Grandad’s unwavering belief.
Argos: This Christmas, There’s More To Argos
Toys Connie and Trevor have returned to screens this Christmas in Argos’s festive campaign.
In the spot, Connie puts on an epic show, strutting past toys as she struggles to contain her excitement in anticipation of the big day.

Etsy’s holiday campaign harnesses the insight that the best gifts come from personal observations – maybe even a bit of sleuthing – about the people you’re buying for.

Digital department store Freemans launched its Christmas ad earlier than any full festive campaign in its 118-year history.
Peroni: Living Every Moment by Unbound
Directed by British Bafta-winning director Tom Green, Peroni’s Christmas offering follows Nino as he shovels a pathway through the snow in his hometown Torino, which allows the community to join him for a beer.

John Lewis has turned to a cheeky carnivorous plant – and an operatic superstar – for its Christmas advertising campaign.
After last year’s low-key charity-linked clip featuring a skateboarding foster dad, the department store chain has returned to its tried and tested formula of a heartwarming story featuring a child and an unusual friend – with a twist from some catchy Italian rock opera sung by the tenor Andrea Bocelli.
Rebel – Sport is a gift by The General Store
Inspired by rebel’s brand purpose – the transformative power of sport – the 60″ hero film follows the touching journey of a young boy giving his mother a meaningful gift to lift her spirits through the holiday period.

Debenhams – Wonderland is waiting
Debenhams has released its Christmas advert for 2023, dubbed ‘Wonderland is Waiting’, featuring a host of famous faces.
The campaign is spread across six films and includes presenters Alison Hammond and Lisa Snowdon, reality TV star Sophie Habboo and fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, taking customers on a journey through a range of futuristic festive wonderlands.
Australia Post – Nick the Intern by The Monkeys
In The Monkeys’ fifth year of Australia Post Christmas commercials, the campaign follows a curious Santa Claus as he goes undercover as an intern at Australia Post to work out how they go about delivering gifts at Christmas time. Paired up with postie Alex, Nick discovers exactly how Australia Post does it, with no magic needed.
